A resident of Wang Fuk Court told TVB News that people saw lights flickering from a unit in the estate last night, suspecting a burglary. Sources said some workers responsible for the reinforcement work were arrested on suspicion of theft.
Wang Fuk Court resident Mr. Lee said a neighbour saw lights emanating from some units on the middle floors of Wang Cheong House last night.
He suspected a burglary and called the police.
Sources said the lights coming from the unit were emitted by the police, who were investigating a burglary case.
It is understood that police received a report yesterday afternoon that three workers responsible for reinforcement work were suspected of stealing items from a unit.
