Knife-wielding man in Tuen Mun Town Plaza subdued and died after police opened fire

A knife-wielding man reportedly roamed Tuen Mun Town Plaza. He was fatally shot by police after taking two women hostage.
The man allegedly grabbed a meat cleaver inside a Donki store. The standoff spilled outside the shopping mall, sending pedestrians fleeing in panic.
Two women were suspected to have been taken hostage at the time before police reportedly fired two shots, hitting and subduing the suspect at the scene.
The suspect died after being taken to hospital.
